Snow!

We get snow here....but only a few inches and it usually burns off by the afternoon.  But today we woke to a whole foot!  And it is STILL SNOWING and we are soooo excited.  We hear that the Sierra Nevadas have had 10 feet already and we're hoping that some of that continues to come our way.  A white Christmas, indeed! 

The kids all woke ooohing and aaahing this morning.  Ella and Ethan first (as usual)---they suited up and went outside. 

Out into our winter wonderland:

Asher woke last (this is typical) and came bounding down the stairs screaming about the snow and headed straight outside.  He gets the most excited about snow and this is definitely a happy day for him. 

More good news is that I am on the mend and have more photos from our Advent activities to share.  This week is a quiet one----a few more sewing projects to finish up by Christmas Eve and more snow to hope for.  My parent's visit to look forward to.  Much wintery happiness here.
