More Sledding and More Fairies
You know that winter has come to stay when the back of the car turns into a permanent holding place for the sleds!
Winter term has begun in our home school and it's going well. I am constantly making tweaks and adding/subtracting ideas and this week has seen a smooth start with the kids being excited and my plans working well. Today we studied: Math, Language Arts (Ella), Reading and Writing (Asher), poetry, typing, Latin and Social Studies. In the early afternoon we went sledding at a nearby playground.

After some sledding the kids discovered a perfect fairy land and spent a good chunk of time constructing entryways into "the ballroom" and "the secret passages".
