Lift and Drag: Zoology 101

We have been enjoying our study of zoology lately.  We have been learning how birds fly, how the shape of their wings helps to accomplish this,  and how they actually achieve liftoff.  Lift, drag, aerodynamics.   It's been fun and fascinating.

We made gliders to experiment with these ideas.
