These Days

We've been on a summer vacation of sorts.

Our school year finished a bit earlier than usual in preparation for our summer in Vienna.

Ella and I took a month of German class at BYU.  Fun.  Very fun.

Ethan is playing baseball.

Cate is growing fast.

Asher has permanent dirt under his fingernails and that is a GOOD THING.

We saw a huge bull snake (or "blow snake" as they're sometimes called) in our neighbor's yard.

We hosted our Vienna students for dinner and had a wonderful time.

Ella auditioned for The Gifted Music School.  Competition is fierce----no results yet.  :)  

Homeschool Park Day.

Lots of outside play.

Trying to finish up lots of little house projects.

Oh,  and thinking about packing.  

Courage is:  standing up and giving a presentation in German in front of a class of college students....when you're 12.  And have never been to school.  :)

Bliss is:  a kite on a beautiful day

Sweetness is:  Seven and a Half!

Cuteness is:  Cate

Excitement is:  Scouting Brothers
