Welcome, June!

Granted, today is rainy in our neck of the woods....odd for June here....odd for here in general.  But the garden is exploding!

That said, we've had a lovely first few days! 

First harvest:



First sprinklers:  (have you ever noticed how absolutely perfect it is to watch children run through the sprinklers...made even more so by donned fairy wings and silkies....and how practically impossible it is to capture the perfection on film?)



First open-fire cook-out (do s'mores count as "cooking"?):



And, first fabulous garage sale find (a perfect train table for $20!)---look closely, it's there somewhere!:
