Happy Easter

It was a glorious Easter. 

The morning started early with this:

 ....and then got sillier and sillier.

After a morning full of sunlight streaming in the window, happy kids getting hopped up on sugar, and getting back into bed and sleeping later, we got dressed and went to church.

The way was lovely. 

Bright sun and warm, flowers popping up everywhere (despite the cold of Friday).

Beautiful thoughts and music.

Getting to carry a babe on my shoulder and put her to sleep during a nursery class. 

I miss that. 

Coming home hours later to more rest and then going to the annual Easter Party at our friends'. 

A yummy dinner, new and old friends, chat, and an egg hunt (aka:  a candy hunt):

It was a good day.  It always is.
