Talents

It's been so much fun this year to see Asher bloom in gymnastics. 
His body is small and very lightweight and he has great physical coordination and balance.
We've watched him go from beginning gymnastics in September to being invited onto Pre-Team in December.
Now he spends 4 hours a week at the gym.  A lot, I think.  But it's not too much for him.
Each afternoon that it is a gymnastics day, he knows exactly when he needs to put on his uniform.
And then the questioning begins. 
Half hour before we need to leave:  "Can we go now, Mom?"
Fifteen minutes before we need to leave:  "Don't we need to leave, Mom?"
5 minutes before we need to leave:  Silence.  Just standing looking at me.  Totally excited and impatient.

He got his uniform last week.  Oh my.
