Recently Overheard:

While singing one of the kid's favorite songs the other night at bedtime we had a strange (but delightful) case of miscommunication:

Me:  "...blacks and bays, dapples and grays, all the pretty little horses..."

John: "Me want apples and grapes"

Me: "What?"

John: "...apples and grapes."

(long confused pause)

Me:  "Oh!  Dapples and Grays!"
