Here's Crazy
Here's Crazy: it was right here today. We were the musician- family-show.
10 am Ms. Wendy plays in her first violin recital. Accompanied by Papa. And friends came! (thank you!)
1 pm Scott has a dress rehearsal--taped for tv. We all attempted to watch but the boys had to be taken out in the first 5 seconds. Wendy lasted a bit longer....
7:30 Scott plays Prokofiev concerto. Oh, he was FABULOUS.
Add in parents-in-law here for the weekend and the excitement and craziness that brings, Michael projectile vomiting randomly throughout the day (many changes of clothing....ack!), December 1= the first day of our advent celebration, it snowed lastnight and the roads were messy (but it was so beautiful here!), cufflinks and hankerchief to be retrieved at the last minute (oh, you meant cufflinks, not tuxedo studs...sorry, love!), meals to be made (thank goodness for restaurants!), etc. What a crazy day!
And now it is coming to a close...thank goodness! Scott played SO WELL, Wendy was fabulous, Michael is sleeping soundly (no throw-up for the last 6 hours) and I snuggled John to sleep.
Ah, sleep.....

It is good to read that all is well with your family (well almost well if not a bit crazy.) I'm glad Scott had a good performance. It must always be a relief. I hope everyone is feeling better today and the vomit hasn't spread.
Enjoy the Season of Advent. I would love to read just a little about how you plan to celebrate the anticipation.
Sounds like my week! Where did Scott play? Was that the piano concerto? Do tell!
