Rain? Snow? June?

It is one of those sad moments when the Carnival is rained out...or snowed...depending on which moment you choose.   But you bundle the kids and go anyway because you look forward all year to seeing their happy-child-joy faces as the spaceships go up and down.

Plus, when the carnival is only a block away from your house it turns into quite a quaint little small-town sort of tradition.  And one has to eat cotton candy at least once every year...even if it is threatening to snow, it tastes just as heavenly.

And just in case you don't believe me about the snow thing.  Here we are at swimming lessons with snow-covered mountains in the background.  Beautiful in a sad, cold sort of way.

I miss that carnival!!! Such a sweet fun time. And your kids are TOUGH if they'd swim in weather like this week!
