Marshmallows and Fairy Play
We spent a lovely hour or so up in the canyon this afternoon.

Daddy built a fire and we roasted marshmallows. Baby Michael crawled gleefully around in the dirt and leaves. We peered at two spotted trout chasing each other in the creek. The kids built fairy houses in the fabulous root systems.

It was just such a nice, peaceful family outing. The air was crisp and clear. The creek babbled and lulled my gloom away.

We love to do this stuff during the week but it's so much nicer to do WITH DADDY.
